Description

For registered volunteers:

Our spaces are not temperature controlled so it can get hot or cold depending on the season.
We require closed toed shoes when working in our warehouse for safety reasons.
All volunteers must sign a safety waiver. If the volunteer is under 18 their parent/guardian must be present to sign one for them.
The warehouse can be dusty. We try to keep the space clean but it's hard to get rid of dust in a warehouse. Masks and gloves are available.
We will have a water cooler available so feel free to bring a water bottle. You are also welcome to bring your own snacks or beverages.
You can bring donations. If you have items you would like to donate to Community Warehouse, you are welcome to do so. Please consult what we take on our website.
Please park along the side of the building rather than in front. We like to leave those spaces open for donors, but they can be used for overflow if needed.

For this 2026 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Days of Service event, volunteers will meet at Community Warehouse, a furniture bank. We will sort donations and also assemble their "Clean Home Kits" which are given to their clients to help them set up their new home. Volunteers may also sort donations depending on attendance numbers. Teen volunteers welcome but must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
