Are you planning to go to the 2025 Tigard Pride Parade & Festival? Want to volunteer and help us make the event happen? Awesome! Thanks! We've got some options for you.
Here are some general details about the event.
Shifts will either take place at Tigard Towne Square (located at the corner of Durham Rd. and Hwy 99) for parade setup and teardown, or Tigard High School (9000 SW Durham Rd, Tigard, OR 97224) for festival setup or teardown. Sign up for as many or as few shifts as you would like. Please contact us with questions.
SHIFT DESCRIPTIONS:
12-2pm: This shift is for Parade setup and execution. Meet at Tigard Towne Square and help set up the parade start point and decorating station. When parade participants start to arrive, get them signed in, and hand out decorations.
12:30-2:30pm: This shift is for Festival setup. Meet at Tigard High School and help decorate, put out signage, help vendors load-in if necessary, and help parade vehicles enter and park.
2-3:30pm: This shift is for Parade cleanup. You need to have a car for this shift. Meet at Tigard Towne Square after Parade is finished. Some will breakdown the car decorating station, and some will a walk/drive the Parade route a bit at a time to pick up trash.
4:30-6pm: This shift is for Festival cleanup. Meet at Tigard High School and help break down the Festival and return the High School to its normal state.
Please only sign up if you are supportive of the LGBTQIA+ community. Harassment, aggression, or otherwise illegal or discriminatory behavior will not be tolerated.
